Objectives

  • O5.1 To execute the different networking and VM management operations necessary to realize the virtual functions on the physical infrastructure of a single domain, as well as of multiple domains of a cloud federation.
  • O5.2 To investigate and deploy highly efficient and scalable solutions to automate real-time monitoring at all the layers of abstraction (physical as well as virtual networking and computing components, environmental and power consumption).
  • O5.3 To provide a proper framework to model service heterogeneity, resource heterogeneity, resource sharing, and power-performance trade-off in a dynamic and federated environment, so as to minimize cost and ensure SLA on both data and business policies.
  • O5.4 To provide a knowledge plane to support intelligent management and orchestration of federated cloud resources and services in real-time.
