Objectives

  • O6.1 Provide an analysis of the specific LSDCN application requirements in terms of resources and connectivity. Based on the analysis the necessary building blocks will be identified which will drive the remaining tasks of the WP6. This task will also interface with WP3, WP4, and WP5, providing inputs for intelligent management, service orchestration, and distributed resources monitoring development and enhancement.
  • O6.2 Adapt the proposed application on the cloud and network services used to compose the project infrastructure.
  • O6.3 Deployment and validation of integrated environment verifying the application’s operation over the Intelligent Orchestrator by relevant metrics. The task will also identify and implement potential improvements and enhancements.

  • Task 6.2: System & Platform Validation & Demonstration M10 – M24 (lead: UFG, deputy: UPC)

Deliverables

  • D6.1: Report on the design of federated cloud testing environment – M12
  • D6.2: Complete report on validation and demonstration of the Integrated Platform – M24

Milestones

  • M6.1 – Define automated deployment software infrastructure tools – M6
  • M6.2 – Define the minimal requirements of libraries, operation system capabilities for deployment of LSDCN, and the network interconnecting federates islands – M9
  • M6.3 – Deploy the Network used to interconnect the federated islands – M15
  • M6.4 – Deploy the common software used in the islands, including Network and Computing Resource Description and Network and Computing Resource Discovery – M22
  • M6.5 – Perform the selected use case experiments – M21
